37.17.2 Procedure - Limiting Camera-Viewer EX Users (Security) with User ID

Register user IDs and passwords for each security level, then the security level for each display screen.

1. In GP-Pro EX, from the [Common Settings] menu point to [Security] and select [Security Password], or click .

2. In the Set Password screen, select the [Enable Security Function] and [Add User ID] check boxes. Click [Create] to add one set of passwords. Each click adds one row to the registration area.

3. Set the security level, user ID, and password for Camera-Viewer EX users.
   

   

   • Each password should be 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters or less.

4. Select the [Set Security Level For Each Feature] check box, then set the [Read Camera Viewer] level to 15.
   

   

   • After setting up security levels, transfer the project to the display unit.
