37.17.1 Procedure - Limiting Camera-Viewer EX Users (Security) with Levels

Registers passwords for security levels 1 to 15 and defines the security level for each display screen. In the following example, an operator with Level 15 security can use Camera-Viewer EX.

1. In GP-Pro EX, from the [Common Settings] menu point to [Security] and select [Security Password], or click .

2. Password setting screen will open. Select the [Enable Security Function] check box, and in [Level 15] enter the password.
   

   

   • Each password should be 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters or less.

3.  Select the [Set Security Level For Each Feature] check box, then set the [Read Camera Viewer] level to 15.
   

   

   • After setting up security levels, transfer the project to the display unit.
