Settings (Security Settings) Settings Guide
Set up passwords for maintenance staff at security level 15 and for status monitoring staff at security level 1.
Security level 0 means no security is set.
From the [Common Settings (R)] menu,
point to [Security (Q)] and select [Security Password (P)], or from
the toolbar click .
Password setting screen will open.
Select the [Enable Security Function] check box and enter passwords
in [Level 1] and [Level 15].
Each password should be 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters or less.
Next, select the [Set up Functions
at Each Security Level] check box and define the security level set
in the above procedure 2 for each [Item]. (For example, [Review files
in FTP folder] = Level 1, [Save or delete files in FTP folder] = Level
15)
If you select Disable, the function cannot be performed regardless of the security level.
After selecting Disable, if you want to change it to Enable, modify the project file with drawing software and then transfer it again. You cannot change it to Enable from offline mode.
