In the Global Trigger settings, select the row for the trigger you want to set up, and either click [Edit] or double-click the row
Name
Specify the global trigger name with 32 characters or less.
Trigger Type
Set the trigger type.
Condition is satisfied when device data equals the specified value.
Condition is satisfied on the specified day and time.
Condition is satisfied at each cycle.
Prevent Action Bit Address
Use a bit address so trigger conditions are not satisfied. While the Prevent Action Bit Address is ON, even if the trigger condition is satisfied, functions set up with the trigger will not run. Only while this value is OFF will trigger conditions become satisfied.
Status Word Address
Word address for checking the file transfer status and error information.
Use a sequence of 2 words from the specified address.
Status
Bit 0: Complete flag
Turns ON when the function associated with the trigger completes its process.
This bit does not turn OFF automatically. After confirming the process is complete, turn OFF.
Bit 1: Process flag
Turns ON when the function associated with the trigger is running.
When the process is completed, and bit 0 (complete flag) turns ON, bit 1 (process flag) turns OFF.
Error information
Error information is stored in decimal format.

When multiple functions are associated with a global trigger, even if an error occurs with one of the functions, the subsequent functions will still run.
Error Information Address stores the error code of the last error that occurred.
Unable to load sampled data stored without the date and time of sampling. When this happens error code 17 is stored in the Global Trigger Status field.
In the Sampling Group's [Mode] tab, click [Extended] and confirm the [Add Time Data] check box is selected.
Each sampling group has an upper limit on the size of sampled data that you can transfer at one time. When you are unable to transfer all the sampled data, error code 18 is stored in the Global Trigger Status field.
To transfer all sampled data, satisfy the Global Trigger condition again, or adjust the size of addresses sampled in one sampling group so it does not exceed 63 KB (Number of addresses x 2 bytes x Number of samples.)
Set up Global Trigger conditions to avoid transferring multiple sampling groups at the same time.
Trigger condition is satisfied whenever there are data changes in the defined address.
Bit Address
Set up the bit address used for the trigger condition.

Trigger condition is satisfied on the falling edge of the bit change.
When Bit Changes
Trigger condition is satisfied on the rising and falling edge of bit changes.

Date
Set the date when to run the function.
Every day
Runs the functions associated with the trigger every day.
Day of the Week
Runs the functions associated with the trigger on the specified days.
Day of Month
Runs the functions associated with the trigger on the specified date. If you select [Last Day], functions are run on the last day of the month.
Time
Set the time (Hours, Minutes, and Seconds) when the functions are run.
Condition is satisfied each time the defined frequency elapses.
Frequency
Set hours, minutes, and seconds of the period.
From when the display unit is started, trigger condition is satisfied each time the defined [Frequency] elapses.
