23.12 Global Interlock's Touch Enable Condition

Enabling or disabling touch varies depending on the state of the settings of parts used in the project or the state of the connection with the external Device/PLC. This section explains each setting's Touch Enable / Disable conditions.

Simultaneous use of parts with interlock

The Interlock installed on individual parts and global interlock can be used simultaneously, but when simultaneously used, the global interlock will take priority.

For example, even if the interlock for the individual parts is released, touch is disabled for that part if it is in a state of global interlock.

Specifies the address of the external Device/PLC

When the address of the external Device/PLC is designated as the global interlock address, Touch Enable Condition cannot be determined until the connection with that Device/PLC is established. Therefore, regardless of [Enable when Bit is ON]/[Enable when Bit is OFF], the global interlock will be enabled.

However, if disconnected once a connection is established, the status will be the same as prior to disconnection.

Delay Feature / Group with Auto OFF switch operations

When global interlock is enabled (touch is disabled) while a switch delay or automatic off function is running, there are cases where the switch operation will end and cases when the switch operation will continue.

When global interlock is enabled (touch is disabled) on a momentary switch set up with OFF Delay or Group with Auto OFF, any momentary operations will continue during the delay or automatic OFF feature.

Bit Operation: Bit Momentary

Option Settings: Enable [Reverse Display] or [Buzzer]

When global interlock is enabled (touch is disabled) during a ON Delay or Double Touch operation, the operation is canceled.

Option Settings: Enable [Reverse Display] or [Buzzer]
