Set the communication settings of the connection equipment used for a script.
Port
Displays the port used for a script.
SIO Type
Select the communication system which communicates with connection equipment from [RS232C], [RS422/485 (2-wire)], and [RS422/485 (4-wire)].
Select a communication speed from [1200], [2400], [4800], [9600], [19200], [38400], [57600] or [115200].
[1200] can be set when using extended script and the [Port] is selected in [USB/SIO(RS422/485)].
Data Length
Select the length (bit) of the communication data from [7 bit] and [8 bit].
Parity
Select the parity check. Select [None], [Even], or [Odd].
Stop Bit
Select the length (bit) of a stop bit from 1 and 2.
Flow Control
Select the communication control system which monitors and prevents overflow of transmission data. Select [None], [ER (DTR/CTS) control], or [RTS/CTS control].
[Port]=[USB/SIO(RS232C)] forces this property to [Disable].
[Port]=[USB/SIO(RS422/485)] hides this property.
5V Power Supply
If the communication method is [RS232C], designate whether or not to set the 5V power supply. Only set [Enable] if the connected device requires a power supply. If a 5V power supply is not needed and you set this to [Enable], you can damage the connected device or display unit. Confirm the specifications of the connected device and cable when setting this.
