Set ports open or close for each function.
Transfer (LAN) / Pass-Through / GP-Viewer EX / Online Monitor / FTP Server / GP Remote Printer Server / Ethernet Multilink
Select the check box when using any of the following functions.
Transfer (LAN)
Pass-Through
GP-Viewer EX
Online Monitor
FTP Server
GP Remote Printer Server
Ethernet Multilink
If you clear this check box and select the [Pro-Server EX] check box, the following functions are enabled for use.
Transfer (LAN)
FTP server
GP Remote Printer Server
Ethernet Multilink
This is because the same default port number is set for these functions and for Pro-Server EX.
If necessary, set the port numbers so that they are not duplicated.
SiteManager Embedded
Select the check box when SiteManager Embedded is set up and Pro-face Connect is being used.
Pro-Server EX
Select the check box when using Pro-Server EX.
If you clear this check box and select the [Transfer(LAN) / FTP Server / GP Remote Printer Server / Ethernet Multilink Settings] check box, Pro-Server EX is enabled for use.
This is because the same default port number is set for Pro-Server EX and for Transfer (LAN) / FTP Server / GP Remote Printer Server / Ethernet Multilink Settings.
If necessary, set the port numbers so that they are not duplicated.
If you clear the check box, as the port used for WinGP API becomes closed, you will not be able to use the WinGP API. When you want to use the WinGP API, keep the check box selected.
