Check the send and receive lines for RS-232C, RS-422 and network communication. Use this check when an error occurs.
To check COM1 or COM2, you need to connect a loopback cable. When the operation is normal, [OK] is displayed. When there is a problem, an error message is displayed.
For GP-4100 Series (Monochrome Model), there is no switch to select termination or mode.
Checking the COM port is not available on GP-4107 and AST-3211A (MPI) units.
This item does not display when using the IPC Series or SP5000 Series Open Box.
COM1/RS232C
Check whether the display unit's COM1 RS-232C interface is operating properly.
COM1/RS422
Check whether the display unit's COM1 RS-422 interface is operating properly.
COM2/RS232C
Check whether the display unit's COM2 RS-232C interface is operating properly.
COM2/RS422
Check whether the display unit's COM2 RS-422 interface is operating properly.
LAN
Runs internal loopback check. Runs a MAC address check.
This item is not displayed when the GP does not have a LAN interface.
USB-LAN
When the EZ LAN Adapter is connected, runs internal loopback check.
To check the COM1 and COM2 ports, preparation of a loopback cable is required. For more details, please refer to the following.
