This example shows how to sent e-mail at alarm trigger and recovery.

E-mail Settings
From the [Project (F)] menu, select [System Settings (C)] - [E-mail (A)].
See the following for the settings. Settings for [Control Word Address] and [Attachment File Name] are not required.
Alarm Settings
From the [Common Settings (R)] menu, select [Alarm (A)], or click 
.
In the Block Settings, select the check box of the block associated with the registered message and of the display mode (History/Log/Active) you want to use, and set the number of messages stored as history in each mode.
Select the [Send E-mail] check box and the Alarm block numbers that you want to send e-mail.
Select a number for [Receiver Groups]. Specify the receiver group number configured in [System Settings] - [E-mail] - [Receiver Groups] tab.
Select alarm states to trigger sending e-mail.
Open the [Block 1] tab and set up the alarm.
