******************************* GP-Pro EX V2.2 ******************************* October 2008 Digital Electronics Corp. Preface [Fixed defects] 1 Editor 2 Display Unit 3 Device/PLC 4 Project Converter 5 Win GP 6 Memory Loader Contents ================================================================================ [Fixed defects] 1 Editor (Editor) - When a file was not saved properly in the Editor, the confirmation dialog asking whether to open a back up file did not appear. - Backup files were not updated in some cases in the Editor. - Copying from another project caused the generation of as many same headers/footers as the screens that were used. - When Data Type of Historical Trend Graph was set to "32 Bit Bin", Auxiliary Lines were not displayed. - When Orientation of GP was set to Portrait, new registration to Part Shape caused the part to be rotated to the right by 90 degrees. - Changing the resolution of a Project file with Picture Displays caused the file size to be increased. - Error check conditions for Input Displays had an error. - When Editor was used on German OS, certain characters could not be entered in the D-Script editor. - When a project file and a project-converted file that had been created using the old version were opened in GP-Pro EX, the needle of the meter graph was not displayed. - When a WinGP (PC/AT) model was selected, the maximum window size was 1024x768. - AGP-3302B had a feature that could not be set. - In Monitor Step, Symbol Variable comments were not displayed. - Printing with Editor's Print feature caused a forced termination of Editor. - When the online editing was performed using the project created with the old version, the displays were different between a GP unit and a monitor. (I/O Driver) - When Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) was set for the language of GP-Pro EX and pressed OK in the network configuration of CANopen editor etc., an error dialog was displayed instead of a progress bar with the message, "Please wait..." in some cases. 2 Display Unit (Runtime) - Using the Save Data feature to attempt to save alarm history data might cause the GP to freeze during the transition to the offline mode. - The same active alarm was issued two or more times. - Depending on the timing of Touch, switches did not respond well. - Closing the window screen by the bit operation using the momentary switch caused the buzzer to keep sounding. - In the momentary switch with OFF Delay, a bit was turned off before the specified delay time. - When the Word Switch of Interrupt Output (when touch is OFF) in System Area was ON, the behavior at the time of a screen change was different from that in GP 2000 Series. - When Historical Trend Graph was displayed after Sampling data was cleared, the data for the graph was not fully displayed. - Continuous typing of the historical data display switch in the historical trend graph caused the historical data display switch reverse display and the historical display status to be different. - When there were many historical data files in the CF card or USB storage, pressing the Historical Data Display switch caused the display update to stop in some cases. - When Screen Change was executed in GP-33** Series(Before Rev.*-4) and LT3000 Series, the contrast control value became the maximum one. - Cyrillic could not be partly displayed in ST3000 Series and GP-32** Series. - In the offline screen, initialization was conducted by selecting "Initialization Menu" and then "Initialize User Memory". When the progress status bar in the initializing dialog reached approximately 90%, the screen display became abnormal. - In the initial state, a Data Display with invisible setting was displayed momentarily in some cases. - When a Data Display was made invisible, its border remained visible in some cases. - Objects that were rotated with Rotation Animation occasionally returned to their original positions. - Placing a visible animation in a data display that had been set to an indirect address caused the plate color to appear in an incorrect color immediately after the screen change. - On the front layer, designated input orders did not work in some cases. - When Font Types of Input Display and Text Display were different, characters displayed in the Input Display ran over the display area in some cases. - In Alarm Display with Float setting, judgment for Alarm did not work properly in some cases. - When two or more types of parts among Data Display, Sampling Display and CSV Display were combined and placed in the same screen, the later-placed display data was not displayed normally. - Editing the text in Text Display caused the display unit to freeze. - With the Time-Base setting, Visibility Animation could not be made invisible. - With the Time-Base setting, setting the Visibility Animation caused Input Display to work improperly. - When Plate Color was set to Transparent, data could not be entered. - Changing screens during the data edit in Sampling Data Display caused the display unit to freeze. - On a screen with Animation set up, Image Font could not be displayed in some cases. - Switches on System Menu did not work in some cases. - When Margin was set up, displays of device addresses ran over the display area for them in some cases. - When an indirectly specified window was called to the screen and was displayed, the display position was different from that on GP2000 Series and earlier models. - Executing Movie while Event Recorder was in operation caused the Movie to fail to run after that. - After Change Keypad was performed, switch operations before the keypad change were not cleared out in some cases. - Data copied to databuf by using the _ldcopy function might include invalid data. - Global Script's behaviors at the time of screen changes under the situation where an error occurred in the communication with PLC were different between versions prior to GP-Pro EX Ver.2.2 and those afterward. - Failure in writing from Pro-Server EX to CF card might cause the transfer to fail. - Registering multiple drivers in GP-Pro EX and setting one other than "Device/PLC 1" for Ladder Monitor caused a start failure of the Monitor and displayed the message, "It failed to load the Ladder Monitor." - When a PID instruction was enabled, the output value became "0" in some cases. - In the VM unit for GP3000 Series, setting the Still (video still image) setting to Still image caused the capture output to be unavailable. - Pressing the ENT key in the User ID/password input screen caused a freeze-up in rare cases. - In the Remote PC Access Window parts, operation with a mouse connected to the GP caused the part to freeze in some cases. (I/O Driver) - During the restart after GP-Pro EX transfers the project, the error message "Configuration could not download to CANopen Module" is displayed on the GP/LT screen. 3 Device/PLC - When Pass-through feature was being used, going to Stand-by/Sleep/ Hibernate mode caused a freeze-up of the computer. - Searching for a display unit on a computer where multiple Ethernet cards existed caused multiple same display units to be detected. - During a search for a display unit, executing a search again caused the Pass-through feature setting tool to freeze up. - When there was no other Master PLC existing in the network during the communication with S7-200 Series, disconnecting and then reconnecting the communication cable could result in a communication recovery failure. - When a project created with PB3 was converted to Pro EX, the input and output device names became undefined. - Writing to the addresses beyond the last address of the range set in Individual Device Settings ->Function Code and Max Query caused the display unit to freeze. - When discontinuous addresses were set, the optimization of the addresses could not be performed properly. - When the host was communicating with GP-32** Series, HandyGP, or WinGP by using a transaction marker, Pro EX's project transfer via Ethernet failed in some cases. - When KV-700/1000 series was selected, the address input ranges for Output Relay/Input Relay/Internal Relay were limited to 00000 to 09915. - When KV-700/1000 series was selected, the address input ranges for Output Relay/Input Relay/Internal Relay were limited to 00000 to 09915. 4 Project Converter - In GP-Pro/PBIII for Windows: When a project including a blank text screen with a multi language was converted and then opened using Editor, GP-Pro EX shut down. - When "GP-2501S" was specified for "Display" and a project was converted, an inappropriate color setting was enabled. 5 Win GP - Copying project data by using Project Copy Tool occasionally caused Alarm History data to get garbled. - When WinGP started on Windows Vista and shifted into the offline mode, "Windows Longhorn" was displayed for the OS version.
