(The field-site maintainability is improved because the device connected to the AGP can be maintained without opening/closing of its control panel.) (4) Known Problems 4-1 Editor Limitations The followings are known problems and limitations in the editor of this version. - If you select the flask-shaped picture in Tank Graph, the drawing function does not work properly. - When you draw a scale of a circle, semicircle, or meter graph, it may deviate. - In some cases, the number of addresses stored in "Device and Address Code" is not correctly displayed in the dialog. - A negative number cannot be set as a PID instruction setting parameter. - In option settings, if "Do not display double-coil warnings" is selected, even if a double coil exists, "No Warning" is not displayed. - In some cases during transfer, if AGP goes offline and communication is made unavailable, depending on the line condition, timeout does not occur. - Depending on the timing, the Break button may not work. - In some cases, the comparison tool does not work normally. - 30000 or more characters of script cannot be converted properly. ========================================================================== 4-2. Main Unit Limitations The followings are known problems and limitations in the main unit of this version. - In a data display, when you set the address type to address specification and the data type to 32bit, you may not be able to refer USR29998 or 29999 and an error message may be displayed. - In the specification, "a real variable" cannot be specified in D-Script as a constantly readout device. However, no error message is displayed. - In [Sampling]-[Block Print], if you execute block print before sampling, block print is performed as many times as the sampling number. - In a USB-memory-type file manager, copying a lot of files may take a long time. - While an image file is being displayed taking a long time, if you repeatedly display and clear the system menu, the system menu may be displayed and become non-erasable after the image is completely displayed. - In CF graphic display, if a certain kanji character is included in a file name, the file is not displayed. - When you scroll historical-trend view, redrawing the data takes a considerable time, which may temporarily delay communication. - If you continuously execute barcode readout with a barcode reader, very occasionally the first line is omitted. - When Thai stroke font is selected, characters of certain sizes may not be able to be made bold. - Prolonged FTP storage may cause storage failure. - In a middle-size model, when displayed in English, ":" is not displayed on system information screens. - In USB information of peripheral device settings, USB-SIO conversion cable is not displayed. - The behavior of BLMV instructions are different from that of GP-PRO/PB3. - Data communication of connection-device address and logic programs are asynchronous. In a logic, you should use connection-device addresses after confirming data communication. - When many are written to connection-device addresses, switching screens may take a long time. - After an error occurs connecting to FLEX NETWORK, even if it is restored, the error LED of the main unit may remain ON. ============================================================================= 4-3. Converter Limitations The followings are known problems and limitations in the converter of this version. - If the variable types of instruction operands on a logic program are different, they are all changed to an identical type after conversion. - DIO drivers and uni-wire drivers are all converted into FLEX NETWORK drivers. - The LS variables used on logic programs and screens are all converted to LS devices. Also, the 16th-31st bit reference, byte reference, and word reference of LS variables are converted as undefined symbols. - The integer array variables allocated to PID instructions are converted to PID variables. Also, the bit references of the integer array variables are converted as undefined symbols. - If what used as elements of "array", "word reference", "byte reference", or "bit reference" are neither integer constants nor integer variables, the operands are converted as undefined symbols. (Ex: Integer Array[Integer Array[Constant]], Integer Variable.W[Integer Array[Constant]], Integer Variable.B[Timer.ET], Integer Variable.X [Counter.CV]) - A project in which the GP model is set to LT Series cannot be converted. - A project including a symbol and a variable with the same name cannot be converted properly. ============================================================================= 4-4. Movie Converter Limitations The followings are known problems and limitations in the movie converter of this version. - In the Image Setting dialog, set the "Bit Rate" to 4294967294 or less. If a value exceeding 4294967294 is inputted, the number of frames becomes an invalid value, which may prevent you from setting a normal value. In this case, restart the movie converter and configure it again. The frame count is 29.97fps and the bit rate is 384000bps by default. - The following are displayed in the language of currently used OS regardless of the language setting of the movie converter. The Cancel button in the confirmation dialog of "delete from conversion list", File Selection dialog - In the File Selection dialog, what displayed as an arrow in Japanese is displayed as two vertical bars in English. - As log data, the date and time of each conversion operation, Start, End, and Break are stored. Conversion errors are not included in the log. - If you execute "Start Conversion" from the menu, it is not registered in the log. - When Extension LOG has no associated application, even if you select "View Log(V)" from the menu, no log is displayed. You must associate an application such as Notepad with Extension LOG.
