Note:

  • Install this system monitor in the following cases.
  • When customers who have used the type without a preinstalled OS want to install the OS as shown in the table below
  • When customers who have used the one shown in "Applicable Version" below want to update the version
  • It is unnecessary to install this system monitor when customers have used the type with a preinstalled OS other than the one shown in "type with a preinstalled OS" below.
  • After installing this system monitor once, it is not possible to uninstall.
  • To use these installers, the Enhanced Write Filter (hereafter described as "EWF") must be set to "Protect OFF". After having set it to "Protect OFF" using EWFSettingTool, please restart your system before installing.

How to install (This is a self-extracting file.)

  1. Click on the above file name to download the data to a desired folder.
  2. After the download to your PC is finished, double-click on the file’s icon to start the installer program.
  3. Complete the installation by following the message on the window.

The following issue is fixed:
  • The backlight burnout error may be mistakenly detected in some cases.

  • The [Close] button in SystemMonitor GUI has been deleted.

The following button and function are added:
  • [Show Window] button for the pop-up message in the case of error
  • Prohibition of System Monitor GUI double start
The following issues are fixed:
  • Only when the System Monitor service is stopped, API can be used.
  • When an error action [OS Shutdown] occurs in Windows® 2000, the message saying "It is now safe to turn off your computer" appears.
  • When an error action [OS Shutdown] occurs, the OS cannot be shut down normally in some cases.
    Note:
    The above-mentioned addition and bug fix are conducted in Utility Installer Ver. 3.00 (PLX930_Utility_08302007.exe).
