Updated Contents Ver. 1.13.07 (Jul. 12, 2012)
The following functions were added:
  • General Interface Capsule FFK120A-C10 is supported.
  • USB/RS-422/485 Conversion Adapter is supported.
    * To use USB/RS-422/485 Conversion Adapter, GP-Pro EX Ver. 3.00.000 or later is required.
  • LT3000 Series is supported.
The following issues were corrected:
  • When the task type is FIXED_CYCLE only, the communication error occurs and communication is disabled.
  • When new variable data are made, it may be made as the already existing name.
  • 32bit variable may be read/written separately as each 16bit.

Installation (This file is self-extracting.)

  1. Please make sure that the supported software is installed. Prior to installion, close all applications running on a PC including any resident programs such as a virus detection program, etc.
  2. Click on the file name above to start downloading the file.
  3. After download is complete, double-click on the downloaded file to start installation.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. After installation, start GP-Pro EX/Pro-Server EX.
  6. Select [Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.] for "Manufacturer" and [MICREX-SX Series SIO] for "Series" in [Device/PLC] settings of [System Settings] on the [Project] menu.

In case of using a project, created with a version below than V1.11.04

It is necessary to reallocate a variable to a real address when using variable data.

Instructions on how to reallocate to real address.

  1. Open the project file with driver Ver. 1.11.04 or later, installed in GP-Pro EX.
  2. Open the “Variable List” dialog from the Individual Device Settings.
  3. Delete all of the worksheet(s)  (This will delete all Variable Data)
  4. Delete all Structure / Array (If there are Embedded Structures / 2D Arrays then the higher level must be deleted first.)
  5. Import / Re-enter Structures / Arrays
  6. Import / Re-enter Variables
  7. Click OK to close dialog
  8. Click OK to save new Variable Data

Please don’t close the “Variable List” dialog while doing the procedures above. If the “Variable List” dialog is closed, the allocated variables to the parts in the screen will become “-Undefined-“.

  • Add Indirect Device is added.
    * To use Add Indirect Device, GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.70.000 or later is required.
The following issues were corrected:
  • When the worksheet which does not define the variable is chosen, the display of the variable name is not updated
  • When the name of the Derived Data Type(Structure/Array) is edited, the Derived Data Type is made as a new Derived Data Type.
  • When the CSV file that a large quantity of variable data are defined is imported, it may be replied nothing.
  • When New variable data is made, old variable data is not deleted automaticly.

[Ver. 1.11.04] (Dec. 24, 2010)

The following function was added:
  • GP-4105, GP-4106 are supported.
    * To use a GP-4105, GP-4106, GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.60.000 or later is required.
The following issues were corrected:
  • In rare cases, a variable that have been allocated to a real address, is unmatched with the Fuji Electric Co. Ltd. Micrex-SX Series D300Win software.
  • In rare cases, the displayed address in the left side of the [Address] window is unfinished.
  • In rare cases, putting a comment or space in the IEC file will result in an error when importing.

[Ver. 1.10.03] (Nov. 12, 2009)

The following issues were corrected:
  • GP-Pro EX may be forcibly terminated when the address input dialog is opened.
  • GP-Pro EX may stop responding when import is performed and variables are overwritten.

[Ver. 1.10.02] (May. 8, 2008)

The following issue was corrected:
  • When create structure in variable data, there is the case that display cannot communicate with PLC.

[Ver. 1.10.01] (Oct. 30, 2007)

The following issue was corrected:
  • When there are some units such as LonWorks Network Interface Module, error is occurred.
