The leading manufacturer in touch-screen operator terminals, Pro-face^*1 released two types of 12.1” industrial panel computers with upgraded specifications on April 9, 2009.

Newly introduced 12.1” industrial panel computers, PS-3650A with Celeron^® M 1.5GHz loaded and PS-3651A with ULV Celeron^® M 1.0GHz, process at 50% higher speed^*2, although require as much amount of power consumption as the previous model required.

Adopting the SATA bus, which will be the mainstream interface for HDDs, Pro-face can supply long-term stable products to its customers. Also, because the capacity has been increased from 40GB to 60GB, more information can be processed at high speed.

These industrial computers are best suited to traceability systems, which are introduced in factories that handle a large amount of production information.

• Using Windows^® XP Embedded installed on a CF card, a system without a HDD is realized. This enables you to use it in a wider range of temperature environment (0 to 50 degrees C).
