The vessel standard is an international classification standard which provides performance condition for various equipment used with ships. However, the GP3000 Series which utilizes touch-panel technology has currently only been used in the FA field. The touch-panel industry is a rapidly developing market and is attracting interest from such areas as vessels in Europe. Therefore Pro-face felt it appropriate for future development to acquire the vessel standard. The acquired standards are ABS (North America), BV (France), DNV (Denmark), GL (Germany), LR (U.K.), and RINA (Italy), a total of 6 countries. *1 Source: The share of displays with touch-panels (programmable display) is 39.2% in Japan.
