Brief

Pro-face has released a 19-inch Flat Panel Display for industrial use, FP-3900T, on the 2nd of July 2007. There are 2 types – with and without front USB models.

As FP3000 Series - the built-in flat panel displays that enable touch operation, we released 7 models in November 2006 (ranging from 10.4-inch to 15-inch). By adding this large-sized 19-inch model with high resolution (SXGA) to the FP3000 line-up, we will respond to the new customer needs for products used in the industries where environment resistance is required. Pro-face is planning to supply the product as a information terminal device in a wide range of fields - where machines used are getting bigger and a plenty of information needs to be displayed and operated - such as machine tools, semiconductor production equipments, plant management, production control, building maintenance system, sound system and amusement system.

FP-3900T features a user-friendly Type-A USB2.0 port, situated at the front as standard. Previously, when the program maintenance and data backup were carried out, the operator had to open & close the machine control board. Thanks to this front USB, USB device operation is possible while looking at the screen. It is now easy to connect with external storage such as USB memory.
Moreover, the high quality display is available with a DVI^* terminal, which when connected to PC with the specific cable, extends the length up to 5m. The location for the display installation was previously limited due to the distance between the display and the PC, but now you can decide the display location more flexibly because of the 5m-length cable. Operationality and security have been improved with the "Auto-Adjust Function" which allows the display to be set to the desired position with a single touch.

This new product corresponds to the RoHS Directive-conforming (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances). The main unit is made of Aluminum die-casting, which has good heat conductance. So, heat radiation performance is high and the product is recyclable. This product is designed environmentally friendly.

Equivalent to the IP65f's environmental resistance

The new model benefits the industries that are subject to dust, oil mist, vibration of machinery and high temperature. The surface has been improved to the equivalent of the IP65's environmental resistance.

Front-facing USB2.0 interface

FP-3900T has the Type-A USB2.0 port situated at the front panel as the standard; therefore high-speed data transmission is possible. Troublesome operations necessary when using keyboards at data maintenance or making backup using USB memory are no longer required. On top of this, Digital is also offering without-Front USB type for customers who emphasize security.

High quality display via DVI port

High quality display is available with a DVI port. Using the specific-cable, the connection can be extended up to 5m. The location for the installation of the display was previously limited due to the distance between the display and the PC, but now you can locate the display more flexibly.

User-friendly touch panel operation

Without using mouse or keyboard, input and device operations are easily performed by touch panel operation. Operations such as Drag & Drop can also be performed with the mouse emulation function.

"Auto-Adjust Function" for clarity and usability

The "Auto-Adjust Function" allows the display to be adjusted to the correct position with a single touch. Security on operationality as well as clarity and visibility has been improved.

Stable long-term supply

As the parts used are designed for industrial use and with quality and durability in mind, a long-term stable supply is ensured compared to those used on PCs for Office Automation.
