Brief

Pro-face has released the upgraded version of the screen editor "GP-Pro EX". The upgraded GP-Pro EX has an improved user interface and a wide variety of functions – from enhanced search function that streamlines the time-consuming task of image creation to data conversion functions. Furthermore, state-of-the-art functions are newly added – [RPA (Remote PC Access)] which enables operation of server PC via on-site GP, and [Ladder Monitoring] which enables online monitoring of PLC’s ladder program.

Along with the upgraded GP-Pro EX, Pro-face has also released the runtime engine [WinGP], which works on Industrial Personal Computer and enables to utilize screen data created by GP-Pro EX. In addition, 3.8inch of QVGA and 10.4inch of SVGA models have been included in the "GP3000 Series" Line-up. Graphic Logic Controllers, "LT3000 Series" with 3.8inch, QVGA display have also been released.

Pro-face 3000 Series have been expanded and can be used in various scenes thanks to the release of the upgraded "GP-Pro EX".

GP-Pro EX Ver.2.0

The current 'GP-Pro EX' has excellent operationality and functionality, enabling beautiful screen creation. Pro-face has released the upgraded version of this software, focusing on devising more user-friendly features and managing to achieve easy-to-use operations of not only screen creation but also utilization of logic program. The upgraded software is designed to meet customer needs, has an improved user interface that enables much smoother drawing operation, and supports various languages to display and input. Furthermore, "High-quality Parts" which accurately deliver information, and "High-functional Switches" which is the first in the industry, will help meet the needs of customers.

Moreover, we implemented a number of new functions that can streamline the time-consuming tasks of screen creation. Example 1: "Search Window Function" enables search in the project and drastically reduces editing-time. Example 2: "PC Simulation Function" can support easy debugging on your computer without transferring screen data to GP screen. Example 3: "Resolution Converter Function" can automatically convert project data according to the resolution each GP provides. As well as the above listed functions, a further variety of high-spec functions have also been added to improve operating efficiency.

The GP3000 Series, the new concept in graphic operator interfaces

The new concept in graphic operator interfaces, the "GP3000 Series", is the leading product in the Pro-face 3000 Series, and now 2 models are added to the line-up - 3.8inch of QVGA model and 10.4inch of SVGA model. There are 54 models in total as the GP3000 Series, ranging from 3.8 inch to 15 inch displays and consisting of 3 classes – "M (Multimedia) class" which enables video recording and playback, "C (Control) class" which accommodates simple sub-control and future expansion of I/O functions as well as "S (Standard) class". With the large variety of the line-up, visualization of the manufacturing field has surely been taken to the next level.

In addition, the new add-on software for the upgraded screen editor of GP-Pro EX Ver.2.0, "RPA (Remote PC Access)", will appeal to the customers who need to gain access to a networked computer and operate it on GP. When a variety of data required at production floor is stored in Server PC and can be easily browsed at the site, and applications in the PC can be operated at the site as well, you no longer need to bring your PC at production floor nor need to move to the place where Server PC is located. If you have the RPA function, then there is no need of PC at your production floor.

Industrial Personal Computer, PS3000 Series. Supported GP-Pro EX

The runtime engine for Windows, "WinGP" (new add-on software for GP-Pro EX) enables easy screen creation on our industrial personal computer PS3000 Series, and also utilization of screen data created by GP-Pro EX. Single software GP-Pro EX now supports both GP and IPC, which can save time for learning respective software applications for GP and IPC. Furthermore, this new software enables communication between GP and IPC without any programming, providing a seamless environment.

A variety of communication protocols are supported as well, and the API ensures collaboration with the existing applications. WinGP will provide new solutions, solving conventional IPC problems as well as meeting customer demands at further sophisticated manufacturing field. Moreover, the Flat Panel Display (FP3000 Series) and the Box-type Computer (PS-2000B), which enables up to 10m extended connection, are also supported.

Graphic Logic Controllers, LT3000 Series Supported GP-Pro EX

Control functions and touch panel function are now integrated into the LT3000 Series, which meets the satisfaction of customers who would like to have whole device including control and operation panels compact-sized. The LT3000 Series is recommendable for customers who prefer compact design.

A variety of functions such as standard DIO with 12 inputs / 6 outputs, and special I/O interfaces including Acceleration and deceleration pulse output with the maximum speed of 65 kHz, and 100 kHz high-speed counter input, are concentrated into this compact-sized device with 3.8inch LCD.

It is possible to select up to 2 types of EX module combinations from 13 EX modules, so we can provide product of your needs. Furthermore, a variety of USB devices can connect to the USB host.
