Pro-face, a leader of HMI and factory data communication products, designed and produced by Digital Electronics Corporation, global head office in Osaka, Japan, is proud to announce the addition of new models to graphic operator interfaces, GP2300 Series. 4 models of new GP2300 Series will be released in December, 2001.

With 5.7-inch displays, in addition to high connectivity and performance of the current GP2000 models, GP2300 Series offers users to select the most suitable operator interface for their applications.
There are 4 models of GP2300 Series available. GP-2301S and GP-2301L are equipped with built-in I/Fs of Main Serial, CF-card and Expansion Bus for optional Fieldbus modules, as well as 320 x 240 pixels full graphic display and touch panel. GP-2301S comes with 64-color STN display, and GP-2301L with black and white monochrome LCD.
In addition to the GP2301 specifications, GP-2300T and GP-2300L are equipped with Ethernet I/F, Expansion Serial I/F, Printer I/F and larger capacity of data storage memories. GP-2300T is equipped with a 320 x 240 pixels, high-brightness and wide viewing angle 256-color TFT display, and GP-2300L with a black and white monochrome LCD.
The GP2300 models are designed to enhance data handling on the factory floor. The CF-card I/F allows users to access production data, such as logging, recipe, alarm history, screen images upon a trigger event, for data sharing with PC applications and other devices, as well as screen data maintenance.
Over 100 series of controllers, such as PLCs, temperature controllers and inverters, from 26 makers around the world, including various network systems, are supported with GP2300 Series.
The Ethernet I/F can be used for manufacturing information management, together with Pro-face’s Data Collection Software, Pro-Server, as well as high-speed communication with PLCs supporting the network connectivity. Production data from PLC can be transferred to a data collection server on the network in real-time. Support of ADO, DDE, DDL, OPC and SQL on Pro-Server eases data connection with both popularly used spreadsheet or database and customer’s own applications. Furthermore, remote monitoring and operation via Internet or Intranet can be implemented for efficient production control and system maintenance with the Web Operation Software, GP-Web.
To extend its operating temperature range in various industrial environments, the GP2300 housing body is made of Aluminum die cast for enhanced cooling. Its rear panel has no air-cooling outlet, and provides outstanding protection against dust and foreign particles falling over its internal circuit. As well as the other models of GP2000 lineup, the front panel of all GP2300 models is rated IP65f and NEMA 4x/12.
All of 4 models conform to CE marking and UL/CSA standards.
