Pro-face, a leader of HMI and factory data communication products, designed and produced by Digital Electronics Corporation, global head office at Osaka, Japan, releases the Graphic Logic Controller, GLC2600T.
GLC2000 Series is designed to meet the demands for information, human-machine-interface and I/O control on factory floors. GLC2000 Series offers graphic display, touch panel operation, 2 channels of serial I/F with over 80 drivers to support more than 500 controller types around the world, built-in Ethernet I/F and built-in remote I/O system, Flex Network, for I/O control in an all-in-one configuration.
GLC2600T is equipped with 12-inch, 800 x 600 display resolution, TFT display to accommodate increasing data amount required in manufacturing systems. The high brightness and wide viewing angle display enhance its easiness of monitoring and operability in harsh environments of production sites.
The network connectivity of GLC2600T with the built-in Ethernet I/F greatly reduces system configuration and development time to share production data for production control, maintenance and corporate information management. Communication middle-ware from Pro-face, Pro-Server with Pro-Studio, provides systems to be connected with very simple setups, without special script programming, using common I/Fs of DLL, DDE, OPC, ADO and SQL.
The Ethernet I/F of GLC2600T can, also, be set up for communication with many of PLC TCP/IP protocols supported on the screen editor software, GP-PRO/PB III. Adding an optional Ethernet unit to GLC2600T, the network layers for PLC communication and information management can be separated with a total of 2 Ethernet channels for system security.
The I/O connection with GLC2600T is simple and flexible. The built-in remote I/O, Flex Network, interface of GLC2600T can control maximum 1008 I/O points via 9 types of terminal units with high performance of 12Mbps, 400m total connection distance in 2 network channels over 63 nodes. Flex Network allows flexible system configurations, as well as easy installation and wiring.
Attaching the optional Video-mix, VM, unit to GLC2600T, video images from external video cameras and PC screen image from an external PC unit can be displayed on the GLC2600T screen. The video and PC screen image, and, also, entire GLC2600T screen can be captured in the JPEG format and can be saved on a CF card installed on GLC2600T.
Logic programming for GLC2600T can be developed with Pro-Control Editor software. Full support of Windows GUI on Pro-Control Editor assures a shortest learning of the software and easy development and maintenance time. With GLC2600T, you have benefits of the network connectivity for the on-line logic monitoring and editing, too. Logic process of GLC2600T can be monitored remotely via an Ethernet network or serial connection.

Furthermore, GLC2600T screen data can be copied to/from a CF card for easy data download for new installation and maintenance. |

Support of Optional Video-mix Unit
Video images from 4 video cameras and PC screen image from 1 RGB input can be displayed on up to 4 simultaneous windows of GLC2600T screen. This function allows monitoring actual production status on the same screens where you perform machine or application operation. Also, the GLC2600T screen image can be output and monitored on an external monitor, such as flat panel display or conventional CRT, installed in a remote distance. Furthermore, video image displayed on GLC2600T can be captured on to a CF card installed on GLC2600T for production records and troubleshooting. |
