Important Note for using USB Data Transfer Cable (GPW-CB03).

Please review the detailed information and support procedure described below.

Outline

The combination of the USB Data Transfer Cable (GPW-CB03) Rev1 and the driver v1.5 do not work in the following functions. It is necessary to update the driver to the latest one.

• Two built-in port functions of Mitsubishi PLC
• The laader monitor of GLC
• The laader transfer of PLC

Factor

The chip in the USB Data Transfer Cable has been changed to a new type , and production of the old type has been stopped.
Since V1.5 driver does not completely initialize the new USB chip, some transfer functions are not available.

Remedy

Change the USB Data Transfer Cable(GPW-CB03) driver to V2.0.
The latest driver(V2.00) is available through our homepage “Otasuke Pro”.

Identifying effected product

GPW-CB03: Check the label an the cable. If there is “Rev1”, it’s the effected product.
Refer to the following photograph. (RoHS mark also means it’s the effected product.)

Driver version confirmation method : (confirm with USB Data Transfer Cable in a connected state): In the case of XP :

1. Right-click “My Computer” and select “Property”.
2. Select the tab “Hardware” and click the “Device Manager”.
3. Double-click “Port” and right-click “ Pro-face GPW-CB03” and select “Property”.
4. Select the tab “Driver”. If version is “V1.5.0.0”, it is necessary to upgrade the driver V2.0.
