Information to our valued customers who use MODBUS master driver of GP4000 series

Thank you very much for your continuous use of Pro-face products.
We have confirmed that the following symptom occurs by some PLC at MODBUS TCP communication.
The symptom for this problem is indicated below.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Symptom

When ‘MODBUS IDA General MODBUS TCP Master Driver.’ and  ‘Schneider Electric SA MODBUS TCP master driver’ are used in GP4000 series, communication may be impossible and the following communication error may occur.

Error : RHAA065:PLC1: TCP : It is not completed to open. (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)

Subjected Product Combination

Applicable when the following products are used in combination.

Affected HMI models:
SeriesProduct Model
GP4000 Series

All　models
(GP-4105G, GP-4105W, GP-4106G and GP-4106W are not affected.)

PLC Driver：

Schneider Electric Industries MODBUS TCP Master Driver.

MODBUS IDA General MODBUS TCP Master Driver.

Cause and Measures

It was the problem of the controller chip in slave devices (PLC etc.).
