We have confirmed that the following symptom has been seen in GP-Pro EX.
The symptom for this problem are indicated below.

Symptom descriptions

When project data in where the global function setting, for function keys, has been made is received from the applicable product listed below to a PC installed the screen editor GP-Pro EX, and then the file is opened with the editor, an error message of "The data could not be read." is displayed. If the data uploaded to the PC is saved after the error message appears, the global function setting may be lost.
However, this has no impact on the operation of the product that the data has been received from.

Combination of applicable products

The symptom occurs when the following applicable models of Graphic Operator Interfaces are used with the one of the versions of the Screen Editor Software listed below.

Measures

If the error message appears on the screen of GP-Pro EX, please be sure to delete the received data without saving it.
If you would like to modify the project data, please use the data originally made on a PC and sent to the product. Then, transfer the changed data to the product by the following settings.

 

  • Transfer project: All
  • Transfer system: Forced
