GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package03 (Ver. 7.01/Ver. 7.02)

Posted: 2004, April 15

Thank you very much for your continuous use of Pro-face products.
We have confirmed that the leakage of fill might occur on the screen where the leakage of fill is not actualized until now, when the screen creation software of GP-PRO/PBIII C-Pakage03 (GP-PRO/PBIII for Windows Ver. 7.01/Ver. 7.02) is used.
The symptom for this problem are indicated below.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Description

In order to match the drawing method by Monochrome Display Unit and the screen creation software of GP-PRO/PBIII C-Pakage03, Monochrome Display mode is added*2.
Because of Monochrome Display mode the contents of drawing of the display unit can be correctly displayed on a personal computer.
However, the leakage of Fill which has not been noticed until now by the use of this mode might be observed on the screen creation software.
When the Fill area becomes large it is assumed that the screen creation software which uses this may take time to draw, also depending on the memory exaggerated stack over warning might be displayed.
However, in the display unit there is no difference with the old version of the software.

Example with the possibility of leakage of Fill is as follows.

  1. Screen where black fill is carried out to black material.
  2. The plain parts 02 which is set as color black using color settings of the parts is placed on the screen. (Please refer to notes of parts list manual.)

Please change the content of drawing so that the leakage of fill does not occur. By making changes like removing the fill into unnecessary area and parts when the leakage of fill is actualized by the screen creation software in the above-mentioned situation.
In addition, when you want to solve the above said problem of lump leak on screen creation software, it is possible to solve it by setting 8 color mode in older version of screen creation software.
Procedure to change the settings to 8 color mode is described as follows.
  1. About GP477R, it is supported from GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package03 (V7.02) onwards.

Procedure for changing the Color Settings to 8 Color Mode

1. Please click the GP setting on project manager.

2. Please Click the initial screen settings tab in GP setting dialog.

3. Please select [Display screen editor in color] and press OK button, GP setting dialog will be closed.

Display will become as in older version of the screen creation software, when the editor screen is opened with the above settings.
